As part of my role at the 2025 ACL Fest, we created interstitial content to air on Hulu in between the live performances. For any live broadcast, the programming challenge is to keep at-home-viewers from changing the channel after their favorite artist leaves the stage – and before the next artist begins their performance. These (and many other) interstitial-segments were created to maintain that viewership.
Embracing the local culture of Austin (City Tagline: Keep Austin Weird) we leaned into a quirky new outdoor & bar sport called Donk Toss. Think “cornhole” only weirder! Big thanks to the great TEDDY SWIMS for playing along.
